Wedding at The Free Company, Balerno

Ross & Jack held the second part of their wedding celebrations at The Free Company in Balerno, on the outskirts of Edinburgh. The Free Co is one of my absolute favourite wedding venues and it was a joy to be back there to photography Ross & Jack’s wedding on digital and film. The ceremony & dinner spaces had been so beautiful filled with flowers from Edinburgh Foraged Flowers. Ross & Jack greeted guests as they arrived ahead of the outdoor ceremony led by the friend Georgie. Georgie shared stories of ow they got together before Jack & Ross exchanged vows, rings and drank whisky from the Quaich. After the ceremony guests through confetti before enjoying cocktails and a bit of Scottish sunshine. Guests were then called for dinner and enjoyed an amazing three course dinner on the long trestle tables in the barn. Much of the produce for wedding menus is sourced from the Free Company’s regenerative farm, creating a fresh and seasonal feast. After dinner guests moved back into the bar where Jack & Ross cut the cake before returning to the barn for a Ceilidh. Here are a few of my favourites from their wedding day.
