Dunblane Cathedral & Cromlix Hotel Wedding
Jemma & Euan got married at the beautiful Dunblane Cathedral at the start of June followed by a reception at Cromlix Hotel. I was joined by Emma from Ur BTS Bestie who was capturing content on the day and was a joy to work with. Euan and his groomsmen met at the Tappit Hen Pub, just across from the Cathedral, for a drink with guests as they arrived ahead of the ceremony. Barbara from Wild Flower Workshop had done the beautiful flowers for the day, including some podiums at the front of the ceremony in the Cathedral creating a lovely focal point in the already stunning space. Rosewood Strings played as guests took their seats and as the bridal party made their entrance. Jemma & Euan exchanged vows, rings and signed the register to make it all official. After the ceremony guests through confetti as the couple exited the Cathedral and were whisked back to Cromlix in a classic car from Lothian Classic Cars. Back at Cromlix we spent a short while doing some couple and family photos before they rejoined the drinks reception and enjoyed music from Ginny & The Tonic (a piano & vocal duo based in Glasgow). The conservatory at Cromlix had been beautifully set up with long tables for dinner, including the lovely flowers from Wild Flower Workshop. All the guests were then welcomed into the conservatory for speeches and a lovely dinner catered by the hotel - the food at Cromlix is fantastic as expected. After dinner guests exited the conservatory space to enjoy some cocktails in the bar whilst the room was partially cleared allowing The Amber Lights band to set-up. Once all set-up the couple were announced back into the room to cut the cake (made by Kerry Campbell) and have their first dance. Everyone else then joined the dance floor and Amber Lights played out the rest of the night (including a Saxophonist joining guests on the dance floor). Here are a few of my favourite photos from the day photographed digitally and on 35 mm film.
