Virgin Hotel Edinburgh City Wedding
Ashleigh & Neil married in the Virgin Hotel in Edinburgh’s old town. Renovated only a few years ago, the space is stunning and such a unique venue in the city. Ashleigh & Neil weren’t fussed on getting ready photos, so I started my coverage with a few flat lays of their wedding details before joining Neil and his grooms party in the Commons Club as guests began to arrive. As the ceremony time was nearing, we walked down to Greyfriars Hall, a renovated chapel that makes up part of the hotel. They had a humanist ceremony, exchanged vows and rings and drank from the Quaich, though they opted for the champagne instead of whisky!
After the ceremony, we threw confetti outside the chapel before taking a few family and couple photos. They held their drinks reception in the Eve bar, where they were announced in by the Highland Celebrant, who was their toast master for the evening! They cut the cake and enjoyed a few drinks whilst Greyfriars Hall was being turned around for dinner. After a delicious meal from the catering team at the Virgin Hotel, Tartan Entertainment came in to set up for the evening party! The music and energy from Tartain Entertainment was amazing, as always, and included a fun DJ battle between Ashleigh and Neil where the crowd voted for their favourite songs. Check out some of my favourite photos from the day here:
