Noto, Sicily Destination Wedding

Sammy & Chris brought their friends and family out to Noto Sicily to celebrate their wedding in incredible Italian style. I was brought along as a second photographer for Daniel Knight Harris to capture the groom prep, the guests and the scenes from this beautiful wedding day in the south of Sicily. Chris got ready at Gagliardi Boutique Hotel, just as stones throw from Noto Cathedral where they were to be married. The groomsmen got ready in Chris’ hotel room before having some pre-wedding pizza in the courtyard and a few photos on the rooftop overlooking the cathedral. The ceremony was emotional and book-ended with both a grand entrance and exit via the dramatic staircase. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed granita and gelato on the streets of Noto before making their way to Tenuta Falconeri for the reception. Dinner was served under a canopy of festoon lights before the party was well and truly kicked off by the incredibly cool Ritmo Orchestra.
