Guardswell Farm Autumn Wedding

Sophie & Nathan married on the 1st of November at Guardswell Farm on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in Perthshire and Caro Weiss asked me to come along as the second photographer for the day. They both got ready at the lovely accommodation options on site, I was with Nathan in the Cotterhouse and Caro was with Sophie in the Farmhouse. As the afternoon arrived, guests slowly arrived for a welcome drink ahead in the bar ahead of their 2 pm ceremony. Their humanist ceremony was held by Margaret Gibson, where they exchanged vows, rings and drunk from the quaich. They switched confetti for colourful wedding wands that their guests waved as they exited their ceremony. With the shorter days of November, the sun was beginning to set, casting beautiful light across the landscape, making the already stunning views from Guardswell look even more special. We went for a little wander to capture a few photos of Sophie & Nathan around the grounds, including the cute little greenhouse. After speeches and a beautiful dinner cooked by the Edinburgh Catering Company, Sophie & Nathan cut the ribbon opening up the dessert table with a range of delicious mini cakes and desserts from the Pastry Section. The Harmonia band then kicked off the party that saw out the rest of the night! Here are a few of my favourite photos from the day captured on digital and film.
