Edinburgh Back Garden Wedding & Leith Arches Party

Izzy & Adam were married at Adam’s family home in Barton on the outskirts of Edinburgh. It was proper DIY affair, with som many personal touches and involvement from the friends and family. Adam’s parents back porch was turned into their ceremony space, where Andrea Taylor (Soulful Celebrant) held a beautiful and emotional ceremony for Izzy & Adam. After exchanging vows, rings and drinking a negroni from their quaich, all their guests gathered onto the porch for a big group photo. Drinks and canapés were served by the Edinburgh Catering Co whilst everyone enjoyed the beautiful garden that Adam’s Mum had been putting in lots of hard work to have looking perfect for the wedding day. Guests were then seated for a sharing family style dinner in the marquee as family and guests gave speeches as everyone ate. After dinner we caught a taxi down to the shore to take a few photos at Browns of Leith (where Adam worked) and around Leith. Guests caught buses from Adam’s parents to the Leith Arches, where we joined them for a pub quiz, cake cutting and a DJ that saw out the rest of the night.
