Boreland Loch Tay Wedding
Hannah & Callum held their wedding day at the beautiful Boreland Loch Tay - a rustic converted barn with incredible views over the loch as well as accommodation on site (for up to 70 people!) to turn your wedding into a full weekend event.
The morning of the wedding was very relaxed, as the sun shone and the beautiful colours of autumn in the Highlands were at their best. I was joined on the day by Stevie from Journal Films, who I love to work with and would highly recommend. Lisa Ivone was doing the bridal party hair, with Sam Whitby & Rebecca Hastings doing the bridal make-up. The beautiful autumnal bouquets and flower arrangements were from Victoria Bloom. A few weeks before I had photographed Hannah & Callum’s handfasting ceremony in Glencoe so they were well practiced when they tied the knot again, under the guidance of Angela against the backdrop of Loch Tay. After their ceremony, their guests had drinks and canapés from Regis, whilst we took a few family photos and took a trip down to the lochside for some photos of just Hannah & Callum.
The guests were seated for a beautiful candlelit dinner in the barn as Hannah & Callum were piped in by Callan Taylor. After the dinner & speeches, the couple cut both a stunning cake from Copper Rose as well as a tower of cheese from George Mewes. After a beautiful sunset over the highlands, the evening was closed out with sparklers and a Ceilidh and DJ set from The Haggis Chasers. Here are a few of my favourite photos from their wedding - photographed on digital and 35 mm film.
