Edinburgh Old Town Couple Photos
A beautiful morning photographing Keren & Sam walking the streets of Edinburgh’s Old Town. They had their wedding a couple of days before in Glasgow, but both of them have a soft spot for Edinburgh and wanted to get some of their wedding photos with the historic city centre as the backdrop. Being July in Edinburgh, we started off early, meeting outside St. Giles’ Cathedral at 6.45 am. We caught some beautiful light along the Royal Mile with very few people about before tucking down some of the side streets to capture some photos on some of the iconic closes that line the Royal Mile. We then headed down to Victoria street and Grassmarket before finishing up at the Vennel Steps Viewpoint with the classic view across to Edinburgh Castle. Such an amazing session with these two and well worth the early start for the soft light and empty streets.
