Catriona & Antz - Isle of Skye Elopement Inspiration
This beautiful styled elopement story on the Isle of Skye was put together as part of the These Wild Lovers Workshop. We photographed Catriona & Antz (a real married couple) going through the steps of what an elopement on the Isle of Skye could look like for some visual inspiration and storytelling practice.
Catriona & Antz got ready at the cosy Skye Red Fox Retreat, a luxury glamping cabin on the west coast of Skye, as the sun rose lighting up the Trotternish ridge in the distance.
Guided by Onie Tibbitt from Agnostic Scotland, the couple exchanged heartfelt vows, shared a drink from the traditional two-handled Quaich, and performed a hand-fasting ceremony atop the Quiraing against the epic backdrop of the Isle of Skye.
As the day drew to a close, we ventured to the magical Fairy Glen where the sun set behind the hills and the landscape took on a soft, romantic glow — a fitting end to an incredible elopement day filled with love and adventure.
